The weirdness of the 1990s is alive and well with Rowdy RiverFrog in this nostalgic jersey. Funky fonts, odd colors, and one interesting frog make the RiverFrogs a truly 90s minor league hockey logo. They also had a large lime green frog patrolling the arena on game nights and funky jerseys to boot. You do need to check out this video for a maximum 1990s experience. 

The RiverFrogs spent three seasons playing in the Derby City, from 1995-98, at Broadbent Arena. They were known for all kinds of attractions at the games, including having hot tubs in the arena. They were popular enough, but that didn't keep them in town long. After three seasons, the team was sold to a group that moved them to Miami to become the even shorter lived Matadors.
